A New Year!A new year! A year of new beginnings! I am on the road again as I write to you. I have been getting to lead worship so much lately and something has shifted in my spirit. I have honestly had to fight to spend time with the Lord! It doesn’t always come easy, especially with all the travelling; nonetheless I’ve been pressing into the Lord and getting some perspective and heart from Him for 2010. It’s always a good thing to kind of reevaluate and look around to make sure we are still on the right track from God. As I look back over all that took place in 2009 I am AMAZED!, totally and completely amazed at God’s way of fulfilling our dreams. You know sometimes in order to see a dream come true, we have to let go of it and just release it totally to God. That’s the best place to keep it because when He breaths life on it, then we KNOW He’s done it and our human hands didn’t have anything to do with it. AND it’s also great to leave it at God’s feet so when it gets humanly overwhelming and really a bit hard you can fall back on the Lord and get your perspective back under His. He’s so faithful and He’s so good that He wants to see our dreams come true more than we do, but HE wants to make it happen. He doesn’t want us to strive and then have the wrong perspective about the whole thing. Let Him help you, it’s way worth it! DREAM. Dream bigger than you ever have before, God is the author and the finisher of our faith, He can handle your dream. What inspires you? What moves you? Be sure to always stay in a place that you’re being moved by the Lord. Revelation 2:2-4 “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil...you have persevered and have had patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. Nevertheless, I have this against you, that you have left your first love”. God warns about falling out of love with Him. Do what we’re called to, and do it well, but DON’T leave our first love. It’s NEVER worth it. My heart is moved for those who have felt like this new year began and you didn’t have vision for what’s ahead. Maybe there’s even a heaviness that has tried to come and settle in and steal from you. I encourage you to press into the Lord, worship Him and fall in Love with Him again. I pray for breakthrough for you in Jesus Name. My upcoming events are all over the place, hopefully you can come worship with us somewhere! I’ll be in Mississippi, Alabama, New York, Virginia, and Florida…just to name a few!!! Details are always at www.karijobe.com. We are surrounded with all this sadness surrounding Haiti. This month I would like to highlight the ministry of NEW MISSIONS. It’s the ministry I travelled to Haiti with to spend time with the children that attend their Christian schools and churches. As a matter of fact, NEW MISSIONS just sponsored the Share A Little Christmas tour that I was just a part of. They are experiencing devastating loss with losing some of their mission base and close friends through this earthquake. I would love to be able to pour life into this very hard experience. If God puts it on your heart, please look at giving to them. You can go to www.newmissions.org . They will be there long after the fame and cameras leave Haiti. God Bless and Help Haiti.
